Anita Bittner joined the firm in April 2020 as an Associate in the Tampa office. Ms. Bittner has focused her practice on insurance coverage matters, with additional experience in insurance fraud and inflated claims.
Before joining the firm, Ms. Bittner represented insurance carriers in disputes involving first party property insurance claims, with a focus on insurance fraud and inflated claims. Ms. Bittner assisted carriers in pre-suit claim investigations by conducting examinations under oath, and defended carriers in matters which proceeded to litigation. Additionally, Ms. Bittner served as a Deputy Attorney General at the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General where she prosecuted various forms of insurance fraud and violations of regulations governing the conduct of public adjusters and insurance producers.
While in law school, Ms. Bittner served as the Publication Editor of the Rutgers University Law Review, represented Rutgers School of Law-Camden at the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, and was a member of the Dean’s List. During her undergraduate studies, Ms. Bittner was a member of the Psi Chi International Psychology Honor Society.
