Giselle Mammana

Giselle Mammana

Born and raised in Miami, Ms. Mammana is a first-generation American and first in her family to attend high school and college after her parents migrated from Argentina to escape the military junta’s Dirty War. Learning early about the benefits of grit and a strong work ethic, Ms. Mammana graduated the top 3% of her class at Our Lady of Lourdes Academy and pursued a double major at Northwestern University. In addition to specializing in print journalism editing, Ms. Mammana was active as President of the Society of Professional Journalists and helped found the first student chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists while at Medill School of Journalism, ranked as the leading journalism school in the country. When nearly half of the country’s newspapers folded at the time of graduation, Ms. Mammana translated her love for writing into a legal career with extensive focus on legal research and writing. During law school, she assisted in teaching fellow law students about the technicalities of strong writing and also participated in moot court and trial team competitions. Her talents have materialized into several best brief awards and successful legal briefs. She is fluent in Spanish.

Giselle Mammana joined Simon, Reed & Salazar, P.A. as a Partner in July 2021. Ms. Mammana is a trial attorney who devotes her federal and state court practice to all aspects of defense civil litigation, including general liability, premises liability, medical malpractice, wrongful death and catastrophic personal injury claims, bad faith and duty-to-defend claims, negligent security, and negligence in various arenas and contexts.

In addition, Ms. Mammana practices commercial litigation, including contractual disputes, indebtedness and accounting issues, foreclosure, and collection matters on behalf of national and local banks, lenders and creditors. She further counsels businesses with contract negotiations, payment agreements, and general risk management evaluations. Ms. Mammana serves her clients by originating or modifying contracts, including premium finance agreements, real estate documents, assignments and lien-related records, together with any actions necessary to perfect and preserve lien interests.

She attributes much of her success to a strong work ethic, effective legal writing, and thorough attention to detail. Ms. Mammana works closely with clients in an effort to build a trusting business relationship, and she demonstrates her dedication by being responsive and prompt in communicating developments in the cases.
