Giselle Mammana

PARTNER - MIAMI

ABOUT

Born and raised in Miami, Ms. Mammana is a first-generation American and first in her family to attend high school and college after her parents migrated from Argentina to escape the military junta’s Dirty War. Learning early about the benefits of grit and a strong work ethic, Ms. Mammana graduated the top 3% of her class at Our Lady of Lourdes Academy and pursued a double major at Northwestern University. In addition to specializing in print journalism editing, Ms. Mammana was active as President of the Society of Professional Journalists and helped found the first student chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists while at Medill School of Journalism, ranked as the leading journalism school in the country. When nearly half of the country’s newspapers folded at the time of graduation, Ms. Mammana translated her love for writing into a legal career with extensive focus on legal research and writing. During law school, she assisted in teaching fellow law students about the technicalities of strong writing and also participated in moot court and trial team competitions. Her talents have materialized into several best brief awards and successful legal briefs. She is fluent in Spanish.
