Jennifer V. Ortega

Jennifer V. Ortega is a partner and joined the firm in June 2015. Ms. Ortega focuses her practice on counseling, defending, and litigating matters for national and local insurance carriers in state and federal courts. She assists clients in the investigation of claims, provides coverage opinions and litigates first and third party insurance claims.

Before joining the firm, Ms. Ortega represented both insurance carriers and their insureds in state and federal courts in disputes involving first party homeowner’s insurance claims and third party accounting and legal malpractice claims. Ms. Ortega has extensive experience in pre-suit fraud investigations, taking examinations under oath and providing coverage evaluations of homeowner’s insurance claims. Throughout her career, she has litigated a number of civil suits from inception through verdict in both state and federal courts. Additionally, Ms. Ortega successfully managed her own practice representing individuals and entities in a variety of civil and transactional matters.
